Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 08/13/2021 212250153 Preliminary Information: On 8/13/21, around 1:29 am, officers responded to a pedestrian struck by a vehicle at the location of I-285 NB/Arthur Langford Pkwy EB. Upon arrival, officers located an unresponsive adult male. He was not alert, not conscious, and not breathing and pronounced deceased on scene by Grady EMS. The driver involved in the collision remained on scene and was cooperative with officers during the investigation. Preliminary investigation indicates the pedestrian was in the roadway during the time of incident. The Accident investigations Unit responded to the scene to investigate circumstances surrounding the incident.
