This is Maria. In around the middle of July, her owner unexpectedly passed and a friend of mine (owners neighbor) took her in. However, he has a cat that hates her, so she’s been confined to a basement but that’s not fair to her. Because of the circumstances, not much is known about her. She is estimated to be five years old, and she is not declawed. She does good outside on a leash, and she is shy at first but a sweetheart once she warms up to you. I do have a foster lined up if we cannot find her a forever home by the end of the week. We would prefer a forever home over a foster to avoid extra bouncing around for her given the trauma she has endured. It was two weeks before her previous owner was discovered.
