Lineolated Parakeets for Adoption

I have two female hand-fed lineolated parakeets (one creamino and one lutino) available for adoption. The birds were hatched June 21st and June 23rd, 2021. The birds were pulled from the nest around 3 weeks of age and hand-fed until weaning. We practice abundance weaning. The birds are regularly handled by adults and children and exposed to household sounds and items. Our birds are kept in our home in a dedicated room. Our goal is to raise happy and healthy family pets that will readily bond with their new humans. Our birds are very comfortable being handled and will be great lifelong companions. We feed veggies, fruits and legumes to our birds each morning (recipe included with adoption). Psittacus brand bird pellets and water are offered at all times. We offer seeds, millet spray and other high value items occasionally or as rewards. The linnies especially love apple slices and will happily sit perched on your finger while enjoying a snack. The adoption fee is $400 per bird. The price includes a hand-fed lineolated parakeet, an AFA leg band, a travel carrier, first bag of food and some miscellaneous items and information to help you get off to a good start.
