While we are focusing on generators, we also service and sell Industrial Diesel Engines. All of our field service technicians are cross-trained and certified on all of the industrial products we sell. Wolter Power provides company paid in-house and factory certified training opportunities to advance all our Technicians.As a Wolter Power Systems Field Service Technician you will:Respond to service calls to repair Generators and/or Industrial Engines Troubleshoot and diagnose and make repairs as needed Perform new Generator start-ups and factory warranty certification Prepare service reports and paperwork for all work orders Closely work with the Parts Team, Service Manager and Dispatch for daily activities Maintain great working relationships with all of our Customers Afterhours emergency service with rotating on-call schedule with the other TechniciansRequirementsWe are looking for someone with service background in the Power Generation / Engine field.Must be able to lift, push, pull, carry maneuver up to 100lbs repeatedly Valid Driver's license with a good driving record Use and care of your own tools (Company tool loans are available) Dependability along with the ability to work independently are essential attributes Troubleshooting and problem solving skills Good computer skills (Word, Excel, and Office Suite Programs) Good verbal and written customer service skillsThis job is often performed in outdoor weather environments.We offer a complete benefits package including medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, life insurance, 401(k) plan, paid holidays, paid vacation, free tool insurance, interest free tool loans and numerous perks!
