About this Position As an Associate Product Manager, you will play a key role in the development of new products and support of current products. You will work primarily with software products that drive and support our best-in-class line of Wi-Fi enabled inspection monitors for plumbing diagnostics. In this role, you will focus on ensuring the products and features we deliver to the market meet our customers’ expectations. To do this, you will develop a keen understanding of our customers and the job they’re doing, and learn how our product offerings help our customers continue to operate their business efficiently. You will work under a Software Product Manager to help align priorities, drive product testing, and relentlessly monitor and re-evaluate product requirements. Your role is crucial to ensuring software, marketing, support, and communication teams all deliver the right product on time. In this position, you will • Develop a strong understanding of customer needs, industry product offerings, and active development efforts • Ensure that goals are aligned across development teams • Drive and support the software release process by coordinating with marketing and communications teams • Collaborate with other product managers to align your work with other product development efforts, including hardware, mobile app, web-based and desktop software development • Interface with customers to resolve software issues and identify potential opportunities About you • Excellent analytical and creative thinking skills • Ability to analyze and isolate problems on both a system-wide and subsystem scale • Strong planning and organizational skills, with high attention to detail • Demonstrate initiative, and the aptitude to develop solutions independently • Solid written and verbal communication skills • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without authority • Positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills • Understanding of software APIs is a plus Helpful skills • Experience working in a software development environment • Experience with prototyping, wire-framing, or creating diagrams for new products, features, or workflows Desired education and experience • Bachelor’s degree, Computer Science or Engineering preferred • 2+ years' experience in product management/development About SeeScan Modern life depends on the infrastructure that brings water, electricity, gas, and communications to our homes and businesses.
