Who We Are: SD SociaLights and Delights of Christmas are family owned and operated lighting installation and design companies centrally located in the wonderful San Diego neighborhood—Hillcrest. Our event lighting company—SD SociaLights—runs full time throughout the year and provides lighting for weddings and other events. Delights of Christmas is one of San Diego’s premier event and holiday lighting companies who’s been in business for over 10 years. We serve some of the most well-known businesses and light displays in the city of San Diego, with business running from October through January. Who You Are: We are seeking to hire a few, super motivated individuals to join our team! After 10+ years of being in the business, we’ve reached an unprecedented level of growth and are looking for self-sufficient team members to support us in meeting the demand for our services. We want team members who are hungry, hard-working, reliable, flexible, and who can (and want) to grow rapidly to eventually serve as Team Leads after a few months in the industry. Full time work is currently available weekly from Thursday through Monday—starting ASAP! Hours do vary during the day due to the nature of the industry. Oftentimes, we are building and installing lights in the morning and then breakdown lighting displays well into the evenings. So, we need people who are pretty flexible with that daily schedule. In return, we are very flexible with your schedule if you want to go on vacation or have a trip planned as long as you are consistent, communicative, and reliable. This is full or part-time, W-2 job with the opportunity for career growth and to ability to earn overtime pay. The starting pay rate is $19/hr.
