We rescued this kitty about 6 months ago from a severely malnourished situation and rehabbed him. After months of vet visits and lots of tuna, he’s officially healthy and ready to go to his forever home. He is playful and loving. He wants nothing more than to curl into your lap and receive endless pets. He acts more like a dog than a cat, and will happily follow you around the yard as you tinker on things. He’s microchipped and fixed. He’s great with adults, children and babies. He’s not a fan of dogs but has lived next door to one and simply keeps his distance. He’s friendly with some cats and more territorial with others. He will chase skunks out of your yard in the middle of the night. He’s only an outdoor cat—hates being inside and tends to spray furniture if you force the indoors on him. He’s litter box trained for emergencies (following his neutering he had to be inside for a bit), but he’s not always reliable on making it in the box. We tried having him as an inside cat or even an indoor/outdoor cat, he wasn’t into it. But once he knows his outdoor domain, he will be happily, if not sometimes annoyingly, waiting for you at the door most hours of the day. He generally comes when called or whistled to. He likes to climb on the roof and pretend he doesn’t know how to get down, don’t believe him it’s all an act to acquire more lovings. He has the makings of an outdoor adventure kitty. But he hates the car, so make sure your outdoor adventures are within walking distance. $75 rehoming fee and we’ll reset his chip info to your family’s. We’ll be sending him with all of his kitty stuff: outdoor heated cat house, carrying case, litter things, food, toys, etc. Make sure you have a good, stable, safe outdoor situation for him before contacting me. I promise you, he is NOT an indoor cat and things won’t go well if he doesn’t have access to some roaming area outside. He’s used to the city, but will do just fine in the country. He’s almost a year old.
