Seattle Cedar Supply, LLC is a privately owned wholesale distribution company that specializes in high quality cedar shakes, siding and roofing materials. We are adding a Material Handler to our supply company. This position will require the handler to be detail oriented, organized and physically able to load or unload products that can weigh from 50-100 lbs. Will drive a Forklift for a large portion of the workday. Knowledge of roofing and building products a plus, but we are willing to train. Specific Duties: Material Handling - responsible for loading and unloading trucks; counting and reconciling incoming materials Pulling accurate orders from warehouse stock for customers, ensuring product matches packing list Assist in properly loading and securely tying down delivery trucks for outgoing shipments Warehouse work to include putting products away on shelving, verifying that quantities, sizes and colors match purchase order Maintain organization and cleanliness of company storefront, grounds and warehouse Job Requirements: Candidates must have forklift certification and/or experience Able to lift 50 -100 lbs and perform strenuous labor Must be able to work outside in various weather conditions Have valid transportation to our Snohomish yard location; must be on time Courteous, friendly behavior toward customers, vendors and employees Precise reading, writing and mathematical skills; ability to communicate in English Self starter; motivated to perform daily tasks without direction Hours and Schedule: Monday through Friday 40 hour work week, overtime when necessary Benefits: Health Insurance Paid Holidays Personal and Vacation Time Company Retirement Plan **We are an essential company that stayed open and busy during lockdown.
