Pipetechs Plumbing Technologies in Raleigh, NC is looking for one construction project manager to join our 31 person strong team. We are located on 6600 Mt Herman Rd. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and engaged.Job Description:You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. You will serve as our in house supervisor and will manage our field teams while ensuring tasks are on schedule, on budget and of the highest quality.Responsibilities for our Construction Project Managers are: Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation Allocate resources for assigned projects Supervise onsite field teams including personnel and subcontractors Ensure tasks are on schedule Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications Negotiate and submit timely change orders Access monthly projects costs including labor and materials Process and submit monthly progress billings to GC’s and/or project owners Receive project submittals and negotiate pricing of materials Plan and organize project budget from start to finish Communicate timeline, costs and project progress with company owner through weekly project meetings Communicate with Accounting and provide copies of monthly billing Track project accounts receivable by providing necessary documentation for payment Identify slippages or delays in constructions and adjust schedule to meet project deadlines Qualifications for our Construction Project Managers are: Previous experience in construction management or other related fields Familiarity with construction management software Able to understand construction drawings and specifications Possesses superior attention to detail to spot inconsistencies in contracts Must have excellent problem-solving abilities Demonstrable strong leadership qualities and negotiation skills Deadline and detail-oriented Must have dependable transportation Must be willing to work overtime if necessary Must have strong oral and written communication skills Bilingual (A Plus) Experience with Quickbooks Desktop (A Plus) Education Requirements: B.S. in Engineering and/or Construction Management 2+ years experience in commercial and/or plumbing related construction We are looking forward to receiving your application.
