We are a cover band consisting of a female lead vocalist plays piano, lead guitar sings lead and harmonies, bassist sings lead and harmonies and drummer plays acoustic and electric drums. We are a newly forming band since May seeks a talented, professional male or female lead vocalist and a lead/rhythm guitarist who sings to join our group. We are looking for permanent members. Will consider you if you play in one other band but our preference is your not and our age is 50-60. Our set list consists of rock songs ranging from 1960 - 2021. We anticipate the new members to provide input for building our set list. We are building a list of tunes that will work in all events. Open minded about the music we play is needed. We don’t have videos or samples as we are still forming the band mostly we been doing auditions and developing a set list of around 40 songs. Right now we have been auditioning singers both male and female and guitarist who sings and can play lead and rhythm. Auditions are held on Sundays 1pm and rehearsals are also on Sundays 11-330pm. Located in Broomfield. We are all vaccinated and we expect you to be as well. Qualifications: 1. Proficiency in covering our genres of music: Rock 60s to present day. 2. Solid musical/singing skills and have endurance for gigs that can approach 4 hours in length. 3. A willingness to learn and embody the songs in a timely manner. Come prepared. 4. Professional quality equipment. A decent microphone, cable, IEMs and guitar equipment. 5. Professional, dedicated, participatory and fun attitude. 6. Experience in working in a band and other stage experience as a paid player. No beginners. 7. Stage skills that captivate and enthrall an audience. An ability to work enthusiastically with each other on stage and in rehearsals. 8. Willingness to be a catalyst to make our band the best in the Denver Metro area and surrounding areas. 9. Be on time to rehearsals and gigs. On a side note: 1. Guitarist must sing lead vocals and harmonies. We are looking for singers so we’re able to sound fuller and cover vocals from bands with many singers. 2. Lead vocalist must be able to harmonize when another is singing lead possibly play a tambourine, keys, rhythm guitar. You will be covering most of the vocals but we all will contribute to lead vocals. 3. If you live far away from Broomfield make sure you really want to drive more than an hour both ways 4 times a month. Many have quit after they can’t commit to driving even 30 minutes away. Don’t let the drive kill the band. 4. We all use IEMs we prefer you do to. You should be able to supply your own IEMs we do not supply floor monitors. As for amps we prefer small combo amps. Nice to haves: 1. Composition and arranging skills we want to write music. 2. Percussion, piano, keyboards, trumpet, saxophone skills. 3. A place to rehearse a band if needed right now we rehearse in Broomfield. Commit to: 1. Practice 4 times per month on Sundays 11-330pm. 2. Vocal rehearsals as required usually done during rehearsal but may also happen on off day. 3. 2 to 4 gigs per month availability should be open to spontaneous events but most are booked in advance notice. So we know you have a real life and contingencies arise, but if you cannot commit to the aforementioned, and always have an excuse why you cannot come to practices and gigs, please do not inquire.
