Description
Right now we are a solid duo; I am on rhythm guitar and strong lead or harmony vocals, and my female partner does strong lead and harmony vocals, no instrumentation. But we recently acquired a great upright bass guy, who is still with a couple other groups but is saying yes to us also for upcoming gigs. So we're missing lead work. Our repertoire is strictly covers, NO originals, which start in the mid-sixties and end with maybe a couple REM tunes. But it's all about the two-part harmonies with us, the Everly Bros., The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, Bee Gees, Crosby, Stills & Nash, America, The Byrds, Fleetwood Mac, etc.... We rehearse once a week in Elmer from 7-10:00 usually on Thursdays. The two of us AND the three of us have started playing out, and the three of us have dates booked later into fall. Our perfect situation would be to play out maybe once a month or even once every two months. Oh, and this lead guitar player would also need to set up our sound system. We have some basic equipment but would be willing to acquire a PA, monitors, etc... We're good, hard-working, serious people looking for the same. Must be mature, responsible, and have a love/ knowledge of classic "folk rock/ country rock" etc. Would be happy to send our current Song List. Thanks for your time. KC
