The Legacy Academy Activity Center in Fitchburg is a highly regarded indoor youth recreation center designed for children up to twelve years of age. Among our youth programs offered are an after school program, summer camp program, birthday parties and daily open gym play sessions. The academy's owner is seeking a responsible adult to assist with the managing of these programs on a part-time basis. The work tasks include supervising children 7 - 12 years old who attend the after school program and summer camp programs, collecting open gym and party fees due, assisting customers with displaying birthday party decorations, and cleaning up after parties. Staff members ordinarily have plenty of time to read, study, or surf the web while birthday parties are ongoing. The dress code may be described as "casual nice". New hires are required to become fully vaccinated against Covid-19 within six weeks of starting work. All existing Legacy Academy staff members are fully vaccinated. No facemasks are required at work. A high school diploma is required for this position as well as a driver's license. The successful candidate will also need to have his/her own car since the academy is not located near a bus line stop. The work hours for this position are as follows. Tuesdays - 2:00 pm to close; The closing time on Tuesdays ranges from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Additional work shift hours are likely to become optionally available this fall. The successful job applicant will have his/her own vehicle for transport to work since the academy is not located on a bus line. The academy is located near the IMAX theater in Fitchburg, Wisconsin.
