Warehouse Associate Our client is the largest traction tire chain wholesaler in North America. With headquarters are located in Hillsboro, OR the service the entire US with a variety of products and services. **Generally accessible on public transportation** Job Summary: Primary responsibilities include packaging of different types of traction devices and various components for our customers to sell in their store. Follow detailed instructions and work with little or no supervision and may be asked to work overtime as needed. Summary of Essential Job Function: • Daily Production Goals – Package daily orders for shipment. Retrieve chain from crates and use labels provided by the supervisor. • Pull orders accurately and fill out Pick Tickets and Bill of Ladings legibly. • Palletize Product – Place finished product on pallets for shipment. • Equipment – As situations arise employees may be asked to operate the hot glue gun and/or automatic wrapping machine. • Quality Control – Work accurately with a high level of emphasis on detail and quality, along with adherence to all Quality Chain, Saif, and OSHA safety training. • Assembly of chains by laying out the product and configuring to required measurements. Qualifications Required: Math, reading, and good communication skills. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, properly bend in accordance with safety training, and asking for assistance when lifting heavy chains.
