We play BLUES, R&B, and FUNK covers of great songs known and unknown. We need someone who feels the rhythm deep down and can play head and shoulders above the average soloist, and you will have plenty of room to do both. Some pros we love are listed below. Jones Ray Manzarek Richard Wright Jon Lord Dr. John Art Neville Sly Stone Gregg Allman Al Kooper We have: drums, bass/vocals, guitar, and harp/vocals/guitar, each experienced and solid. You've got to be cool, with ability and experience on the instrument live. Great tones, reliable gear, and transportation are a must.(Yes unfortunately based on other respondents I've found I have to include that last sentence.) If by chance you are a strong vocalist you will be most welcome to flex that. Free rehearsal is in Hackettstown, where we have everything but the keyboards. If you are active in a number of bands currently, and prefer it that way, please don't respond. We prefer no scheduling issues, and to have keys at every gig. If you don't live near Hackettstown, NJ; please don't call unless you're totally cool with a weekly drive. Once the sets are down the weekly rehearsing will be also.
