Description

Hello! Thanks for taking an interest in this gentle and misunderstood giant. *Fixed *4 years old *UTD on shots *Housebroken *Rarely barks (unless encouraged! He loves to sing for the firetrucks. Lol) *Super loving *Massive potential!!! *Cat friendly (maybe a little obsessed, this is your call lol) *Kid friendly (we’ve been told, preferably older/educated kids) *Loves to learn!! This boy has been through some tough situations that’s made him very reactive with dogs (especially loose dogs and seeing dogs when in a vehicle). He can be re-trained easily with the right educated person which we believe would make him the overall perfect dog. He loves to learn and make you happy. When he’s able to get his energy out and go for a good walk, he’s amazing. However due to escalating issues with neighbors and the amount of loose dogs that have been occurring (we live in an apartment complex and recently a loose dog did indeed attack and make contact with him and I.) he desperately needs to find a new home and preferably someone that can put him into training ASAP. We are in contact with his original owner who raised him from a puppy, and she is very willing to pay for half of a board & train; train for him in Seattle. Everyone who knows this wonderful pup personally knows how much potential he truly has. He knows sit, down, shake (give paw), high five (hit hand with paw), “throw hands” (throw paws forward/out), wait, look and listen; listen, up, “get a toy”, kiss (touch nose gently to where you point), and no. We are working on “sit pretty” (sit back) and spin. He has full door manners, he won’t bolt through the door, the woman we got him from would have a problem with him being a runner/jumping a short fence but we haven’t seen any of that behavior with him as long as we’ve had him. We are needing to rehome him quickly as our living situation is changing, and we don’t have the ability to provide him with what he needs in terms of his dog issue. We can’t avoid other dogs and we also can’t afford the training he needs. Rescues and shelters will not accept him and most have stated he would be put down, which isn’t an option. Please send an email to hear more about this great doggo and hopefully set up a time to meet him!! He’s looking forward to it! Thank you.
