Gorgeous Great Pyrenees/Akbash (50/50) 14 months old male Livestock Guardian Dog is available for adoption. The owners had to move to another state and couldn't bring him with them, unfortunately. The dog is very intelligent, affectionate, big, strong, a powerful dog, at the same time, he likes to be silly and to play. He is also very alert and great as a guard dog. He is not friendly with other dogs and strangers, but he is a fast learner and can, probably, get along with other animals, if properly trained to do it. He is house-trained and lived all his life indoors, but he loves being outdoors and would, probably, enjoy living outdoors as well, especially if he has a companion or livestock to guard (once he is properly introduced to them and trained to be with them). Please research both breeds (Great Pyrenees and Akbash) to make sure that it is the right fit for you. We might be able to deliver him.
