Re-homing the Roy Kent of dogs- a sweet pittie

It breaks my heart to re-home my bubbie but I am moving out of state for work and will be traveling a lot. Blu was very slow to warm up - he is the best curmudgeon - he used to only want to be petted when he wanted and slept all day. He still sleeps all day but LOVES his walks. Literally will walk for 1.5 hours as long as he gets water. As he’s come out of his shell (I fell in love with him after fostering him) he’s learned to be playful and silly. He now likes to be in which ever room his person is in ( it’s not just me, he loves his dog walker and dog sitter. He just loves people). He does not like cats -as one attacked him. He was not aggressive and sadly got scratched up, since then, he’s weary. He’s also very dog selective. Small, barely dogs aren’t his thing as he doesn’t bark. Like he’s never barked at another dog. That said, I think he’ll be fine with other dogs with the right intro but think he’d be best as the only pet in the home. I have loads more to share about this Roy Kent of dogs.
