We live in an apartment complex and one of my neighbors moved out, leaving his cat behind. Despite our landlord and I trying to reach out to them to come get him there has been no response and I found the cat in distress from the heat in our stairwell aug, 30th. He was a mostly outdoor cat and we don’t think he was ever properly taken care of. We took him in and are nursing him back to health but we can not keep him because we are at our “pet limit” for our apartment…. He is very shy at first around strangers but is sweet and loving once he comes out of his shell and is very vocal. We’ve gotten rid of his fleas, ticks, and just gave him a dewormer. We are still in the process of getting his vaccinations and getting him neutered but I have yet to hear back from the vet clinic on an appointment time but I will update that as we go along. Once he is all finished up and a clean bill of health, I will happily let him go home with you, I’m asking a $50 rehoming to help me cover at least SOME of his medical costs. Serious injuries only. I can meet to drop off but only up to a certain distance. I also work 2 jobs and am not always available to answer my phone, so texting me is greatly preferred. Thank you!
