Description
We are in need of hard working individuals to act as Quality Control Managers for roofing tarp installations as part of the Blue Roof Mission.
The Blue Roof Mission is a temporary roofing mission run by the Army Corps of Engineers with the goal of tarping roofs damaged by Hurricane Ida. You will be working for one of the main contractors running this mission.
You will be working 7 days a week, sun up to sun down. The mission will last at least 6 weeks and probably 8+ weeks. You will be responsible for trailing 4-5 roofing crews all day long, inspecting their installed traps, delivering materials, and reporting photos and data to the mgmt office. You would be arriving at the staging area by 6am every day and generally will be done around 8pm.
Requirements:
- A truck
- A smart phone
- Ability to work 7 days a week until the mission is over
- Ability to walk on roofs
Pay is weekly at a rate of $250/day with food provided and reimbursement for gas.
