hi, my names jacob im 26 years old and attend ssu. i am looking to start a band where i play bass and vocals and you play drums. the goal being to record an album under 25 minutes long, play a few shows here and there in salem and see how it goes from there. some influences include: the strokes, john coltrane, captain beefheart, love, husker du, minutemen, tim buckley, arthur russell, ben folds, built to spill, daniel johnston, eric dolphy, the modern lovers/jonathan richman, jason molina/songs: ohia, velvet underground, the pixies, morphine, broadcast, landowner, elizabeth colour wheel, palm, guided by voices, wipers, caetano veloso, yo la tengo, there are many and i got carried away. i have practice space both in gloucester and downtown salem. feel free to ask me any questions and i look forward to hearing from you
