I see lots of people flaming open mic nights.... why? There are plenty of musicians out there that are not good enough to carry a paid gig at a bar. This at least is a way for them to get in front of some people. The bar patrons will decide if they want to stay and listen to it. I for one won't waste my time as there are too many good bands to see on a weekly basis. So if you are a good band, you have no competition from this level of entertainment. Why do you care? They are not taking business from you and nobody is really seeking them out. Let it be
