OVERVIEW Avid Pro Tools is the leading industry standard DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) used in most large format and home recording studios across the globe, Pro Tools allows its users to be fully immersed in the world of audio recording and production with endless capabilities and countless shortcuts to make the workflow more efficient and effective. This one day, two hour workshop will give attendees an in-depth look into the Pro Tools interface, design, and functionality to help build confidence in navigating the software and enrich your skill set with tips and tricks to help you elevate to the next step. We will cover the following: The basic DAW setup and workspace Edit window Mixer window Transport control Inputs and outputs Adding and deleting tracks Importance of the master fader Creating aux tracks Creating sends and busses Plugins, chains, and effects Creating, saving, and loading templates Mixing techniques Keyboard edit and navigation shortcuts SPECIFICATIONS This will be an instructor-led, hands-on training course.
