Local Latino authors share the wonders and challenges of our history, culture, and politics.
The debut of our monthly Writer's Salon bursts on the scene with a showcase of Latino authors. A Celebration of Latinidad will be a presentation, done in collaboration with the Colorado Alliance of Latino Mentors and Authors (CALMA) from three local Latino authors that portrays distinct experiences. From the Nazca Lines in Peru (an example of ancient, indigenous art) to migrant farm workers to Central American kids stuck in a legal nightmare at the border. The show will mix storytelling, music, and lively conversations that you won't want to miss.
