Description
Guitarist looking to play with other musicians -- guitarists, bassists, drummers, singers...other instruments, too! I'd really like to play with people again, and ideally to play regularly.
To oversimplify, my home base/style is classic rock, but I can and do play heavier and lighter stuff. In addition to rock & early metal, I'm down to play more jazzy music (I'd love to learn more) and acoustic/folk stuff. My main goal is to play; what we play can be figured out as we go.
I'm open to a group getting together and forming a band (or I'm open to joining a band if anyone's looking for a guitarist). But I figure jamming is a good place to start, and I don't want there to be pressure to form a band.
I can never really figure out how to describe skill level in words. I'm "intermediate," I suppose, or "upper intermediate." (???) I have been playing a long time and am good/solid, but my guess is I'm not going to blow your mind with my playing. But I want to get better, and playing with people is part of that. Plus it's fun.
Some important things:
-Covid safety is important to me. I'm vaccinated and would really like everyone else to be if we're to sit/stand around and play music for long periods of time. Open to working with people to have a game plan everyone's comfortable with.
-I do NOT have a practice space available. So I'm looking for people and a place.
