Bassist who likes to play like Chris Wood wanted

We’re in search of a bassist who likes to play Chris Wood style deep groove basslines. We’re also looking to mix in some other styles but right now MMWish deep groove instrumental songs are our starting point. About us: we are two guitar players and a drummer in our early 40’s who practice in Kittery. Practices are more about playing than rehearsing at this point. We all have a lot of musical experience but we’re not looking for an all-encompassing commitment type of working band. We are putting together a band that will be a casual/practice once a week type of a situation but we’re still very passionate about the music. We would love to gig once we have something presentable to an audience, but we are in no rush to make that happen. We’re currently trying to build up our catalog of material but we’re just starting, so this is a great opportunity to help shape the direction of the band. We wouldn’t be looking for someone to catch up on lots of old material at this point. We also like to crack jokes and drink beers. If you can do a reasonably good Chris Wood impersonation and you’re looking for a casual weekly regular jam with experienced versatile musicians with the possibility of gigging out, please reach out!
