Join us to celebrate 90 Years at PhilaLandmarks! Cocktails & hors d'oeuvres at the Hill-Physick House followed by dinner at the Powel House.
Today, in 2021, we celebrate a legacy that began in 1931 with a passionate advocate, philanthropist Frances Anne Wister. Frances Anne roused a group of committed supporters to found the Philadelphia Society for the Preservation of Landmarks and save the Powel House from sure demolition. Today, we continue our mission, inspiring people to engage with history and preserving these local and national historic treasures. And today, as in 1931, PhilaLandmarks supporters and volunteers are committed to historic preservation and their community. Looking to the future, we welcome your financial support to ensure our continued success.
*Please note: we are also able to accept payment for this event over the phone, or via check.
The Philadelphia Society for the Preservation of Landmarks inspires people to engage with history by preserving our unique historic sites and by providing related historical, educational and cultural programming.
