Chicago Mahogany, LLC is dedicated to the preservation and dissemination of the rich history and culture of the city of Chicago. We aim to highlight Chicago’s people, architecture, and impact on the world. Our passion fuels our duty to deliver this history and educate current and future generations. We desire to plant a seed that will foster a sense of pride and community. "The Chicago Way. Chicago South side Mural Tours Sept. 4-5, 2021 Join us as we visit some really dope murals on Chicago's south side. We will discuss the mural's artist, the history of these particular neighborhoods, and the importance of public art. Come explore and experience some of Chicago's hidden beauty. Sept. 18-19,2021 Historic Pullman and Roseland neighborhood Tours Quite possibly two of the most historic neighborhoods in Chicago. Pullman was formerly a town created for the workers of the Pullman Train Car Company and the other was once a stop on the Underground Railroad. Both Pullman and Roseland have a rich histories and beautiful one of a kind architecture. Come explore these neighborhoods with our Urban Historian Dilla. Join Us!!!! Passengers will board the bus in the east parking lot of DuSable Museum of African American History. It is located just west of 57th & Cottage Grove. PLEASE ARRIVE 15 MINS BEFORE DEPARTURE. WE WILL BE LEAVING ON TIME. IT WILL BREAK OUR HEART IF WE HAVE TO LEAVE YOU. We suggest you find parking in Washington Park, adjacent to the museum. Children under 2 are considered lap riders and limited to one per adult rider. All children over 2 require a ticketed seat. Please send us a message for extenuating circumstances.
