The Angels of Love Expect Respect Teen Leadership program is designed to educate and empower teens to have healthy relationships.
The Angels of Love Expect Respect Teen Leadership program is designed to educate and empower teens to have healthy relationships and to become role models, allies and peer educators. Teen leaders speak out about bullying, harassment and dating abuse through youth-generated projects, campaigns, theatre, art, music, yoga, poetry and literature. This program is an introduction to the concepts discussed in the Angels of Love Expect Respect program.
The Expect Respect workshop model works at the forefront of prevention and early intervention to break the cycle of abuse in children’s lives and prevent violence from happening in the first place. Expect Respect is built on an ecological, trauma-informed model that supports vulnerable youth who have already been exposed to violence, mobilizes youth leaders, and promotes safe schools and communities.
The Mission of the Angels of Love Expect Respect program is to educate, empower and inspire teens by raising awareness, developing communication skills and cultivating self respect and respect for others.
Mission Statement: To provide abused women and children of the Rio Grande Valley, with individualized services in a safe and loving environment in order to provide them with the tools necessary to restore each woman and child to a healthy self-worth and safe family setting.
