Madam President Leadership Initiative is an interactive experience for girls ages 17-25 to create our next generation of girl bosses. Find your true awe-someness at Madam President Girl with a Gavel Leadership Initiative. An interactive experience for girls ages 17-25 who are looking for a supportive environment where they can learn and practice leadership skills. Young women will be given an exciting introduction to the world of true friendship, politics and leadership. This non-partisan program will teach the campers about leadership, team building, parliamentary procedure, how to run a campaign, negotiation and the importance of having a diverse network of support. Each girl will meet and have access to Women in Power who will continue to nurture her interest in politics and leadership positions as she grows into a young woman. Over time, program participants will create a growing network of leadership savvy, confident young women who understand the value of good leadership and working together. Ultimately, they will become a force in the political community and beyond. The Madam President -Girl with a Gavel Leadership program gives young women an opportunity to gain confidence and leadership skills in an interactive workshop. Our program gives participants an opportunity to learn the foundational skills necessary for them to lead organizations, communities and governmental entities. Participants can use their experience to run for student government, start a business and even create a public awareness campaign to advocate for a cause that is near and dear to their heart. Participants will build confidence to put themselves out there to do anything they put their minds and hearts into. Participants will hone their public speaking skills, learn how to collaborate and work with others and get the chance to meet awesome women leaders, mentors and role models.
