Texas Hold 'Em tournament benefiting Kern County children's charities Come play poker for a good cause. The Active 20-30 Charity Poker Tournament will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at The Italian Heritage Dante Hall in Bakersfield, CA. The event will raise money for the Active 20-30 Club of Bakersfield to benefit the children of Kern County. All tickets include food and unlimited keg beer while supplies last. Must be 21+ to attend. IDs will be checked at the door. Cash Bar available for cocktails and specialty drinks. ***No refunds once tickets are purchased unless the event is cancelled. Tax ID #20-3369380 The Active 20-30 Club of Bakersfield was founded in 1928. Our chapter is geared towards men in their 20's and 30's. The club's objective is to serve the underprivileged youth in our community while developing leadership in young men. Active 20-30 membership draws from all professions and is open to everyone within the age qualifications. Our organization differs from many other service organizations in that not only do we raise money for needy children's charities, but also insist upon "hands-on" interaction. This active participation serves to solidify our personal relationships with those we serve, maintains motivation, and produces a high degree of personal satisfaction. We serve the children of Kern County through direct contributions in excess of $100,000 annually. The distribution of these monies is voted on by the board of directors. 100% of all funds go to charities; absolutely no money goes toward administrative or overhead costs.
