I, Doll Lady Laureate, being a 20 year Survivor and Domestic Violence Advocate have noticed since Covid-19, Domestic Violence has been at an all-time peak; Children at home, Parents not working, and Bills not being paid have taken a toll on many families and unfortunately resulting in death and innocent victims. Our Queen City D.O.L.L.Z at E.D.O.F's Doll House Chapter, in Charlotte, N.C. on Oct. 23, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm will be presenting "Purple & Pearls, After the Storm" at 1000 Anderson Street, at which time, we will have Savvy Speakers Young and Old – Tearful Testimonies from Survivors to Bittersweet Moments from Life Coaches; Powerful Performers, Food, Music, Networking, following a Domestic Violence Vigil for Lives Loss, While bringing awareness and solution to this DISEASE, we will be collecting a minimum of $5 worth of female personal hygiene items at the door to be giving out to Safe Alliance and/or Women Shelters in our area; all while still adhering to all COVID-19 Guidelines. My name is Nickole Williams aka Doll Lady Laureate, Vice President of the Queen City D.O.L.L.Z under the umbrella of The Elite D.O.L.L.Z. of Faith. Our organization is dedicated to serving communities and we have done this through donations from our members and people within our own community. We Provide toys to children through our enumerated drive-thru event sponsored by Toys for Tots, Feed the homeless and communities with the help of ZAKAT Foundation of America, and Churches, Provide essential items to the homeless and give out baby clothes/items to mothers in need in surrounding areas and shelters with the help of God’s Gift Baby Ministry. The Elite D.O.L.L.Z of Faith (D.O.L.L.Z. meaning delivered of life lessonz) is an organization built originally through Sisterhood; now includes Brotherhood, whom have been delivered of many lessons, from abuse to homelessness. In the 5 years since E.D.O.F. has been established we now have D.O.L.L.Z. in 24 States all doing OUR part in saving our communities one hand at a time. Our motto is based on Giving a Hand Up instead of a Hand Out, because of our deliverance, from what we had to endure as individuals, we aim to Educate and Serve our Communities.
