It's a music-themed Off The Rails double-header! Micöl Rankin talks about his journey from musician to ad man, followed by Sofar Sounds. Our September Off the Rails double-header! Hosted by Chemistry's own Jhadelys Reyes, we’ll kick-off the evening with Micöl Rankin from Majority and transition into an intimate concert with Sofar Sounds. WHO: Micöl Rankin is the Associate Creative Director at Majority – co-founded by Shaquille "Shaq" O'Neal – and was the agency’s first hire. He’s also the creator of the LinkedIn talkshow “You Are Dope” and a 2021 AdWeek Creative 100. Outside of his mad ad skills, he started off as a musician in Pittsburgh under the name “Novi Nov” and has brushed shoulders with stars like Mac Miller, Missy Elliott, and Ice T. WHAT: A casual and candid conversation about his music career – how it started, what drove him to keep going all these years, what inspires him now, and the incredible people he’s met along the way. Following the discussion, Sofar Sounds will kick-off the live music portion of the evening.
