I have had my babies a long time my Female for almost 16 years and my male Ole Red who was my Grandpas passed away at a old age I only had him for 7 years but he was what we think close to 60 years old. He wasn’t acting right and I took him to the Vet in Turlock and he died. They said he had a tumor, I feel awful. I took him there and he died. I tried everything. My female has started plucking her feathers and I have taken her to the vet for this. They said she misses her buddy and it is common for them to pluck in circumstances like this. :-( I miss Ole Red too. Should I get her a friend? Should I adopt, rescue or start with a younger friend for her? I feel so lost. I don’t know what to do…
