Need dog rescue ASAP

Description

We are located in Del Valle, TX. Hello, This Saturday my sister and I met this lovely Lab mix who we decided to name Cranberry. She’s not a stray. She lives at this workshop a family member of mine works at. We immediately saw she was in bad condition. She has skin problems and her fur from her stomach is gone. Cranberry is not spayed, microchipped, or vaccinated. The loose skin on her belly is likely due to multiple litters. We were told she might be pregnant because she was seen with a dog about a month ago. With her current state being neglected, we think she will be better off at a shelter, foster, or a potential forever home. We did talk with her owner and they have agreed to give her up. Unfortunately, we can’t afford the veterinary care she’s in need of. We already signed an intake form and emailed AAC. But we need to find her a place by Wednesday 09/08 ASAP. A little about Cranberry: We are not certain of her age, but she looks no more than 5 yrs old. During the time we were with her she wagged her tail every minute and loved the treats and pets we gave her. She enjoyed every bit of attention we offered her. Cranberry is not house trained and has lived outside her entire life. She is tolerable with cats and dogs. She lives with a young kitten and 2 other dogs. She prefers her own space and will snap at them if provoked. Her owner had a bit of a hoarding situation in which resulted in them giving away almost all their dogs. We were told she’s not a good mother and has lost her previous litters. Now that she’s likely to be pregnant we don’t want either to happen again. Cranberry is looking for an inside home only. She needs someone who is committed to train and provide for her. Someone who will be financially and emotionally invested in her well being. If you are willing to commit to her and her future puppies. That includes spaying her, getting her the treatment she needs, and doing the same for her pups. Feel free to contact me at . I’ll be asking a lot questions to ensure Cranberry goes to a good home. There’s a fee of $25. Thank you for your time.
