This bus just sold a few days ago for $4,500.00 to a private party from a local auction company. That reseller who is NOT a licensed dealer reposted it the same day for $9,500.00. This bus has weather checked tires as were seen in photos the original seller posted but the new seller deleted in his posting. The wiring in the electrical box is a complete mess and would need a certified bus mechanic to figure it out. There reselling isn’t the problem, it’s the fact the bus has issues and they are passing it off as great. I use to work on transit buses and these buses are very familiar to me. If your interested have the SELLER PAY to go with you to Peterbuilt or International and have a pre purchase inspection before dropping $10k. There is a lot to go wrong on school buses such as air brakes, transmissions, front and rear suspension and with it being from Arizona the AC. The cost of a normal service for this bus is about $3k. The tires that are weather checked are about $500.00 a tire so $3,000.00 not including mount and balance which is WAY more than your normal car tire. I reached out the the new owner about flipping it within 12 hours of buying it and he stated. “I will laugh myself all the way to the bank”. To sell this without an inspection and to list it like it’s a cream puff is 1000% incorrect and shows the integrity and character of the seller. So buyer beware.
