Yin yoga is the pause and is geared to cultivate a deep awareness of silence and stillness . Yin symbolizes the primordial divine feminine, the sacred womb space or the dark abyss from which all beings are birthed and created. We like to think of yin as the cosmic womb that holds space for each planet and each being, human and non-human. Yin is soft, feminine energy while yang symbolizes masculine, more overt energy.
