Press release from the Town of Wakefield: September 5, 2021 - 4:23pm We wish you a safe and happy Labor Day! Please make a note of the following schedule updates: Trash and recycling collection will not take place on Labor Day; the rest of the week will follow a holiday schedule (delayed one day). Black Earth Compost sent a message to subscribers that they will not have a change in their collection day; compost pickup will occur as scheduled. They also note that they will be adjusting routes to start promptly at 6 a.m. and advise participants to put out their bins the night before. The Beebe Library and Town Hall will be closed on Monday.
