What does a Socialist or Communist regime look like?

Basically, you first have to concentrate all the money and power up to the top, in the hands of a small select few. Everyone else has to be equally poor, to 'spread the misery' amongst the general population, so there's no jealousy. After everyone is equally poor ( and more importantly unarmed ) they are much easier to control. Then, everybody works for the government. The government actually takes small businesses away from their owners and turn them into government-run businesses. So...... Here's what's happening now: The Covid virus is being used as a TOOL, to effect a major social 'change', which pushes us toward socialism. The covid-19 phenomenon has resulted in a huge TRANSFER OF WEALTH, but the money IS GOING from the poorest to the richest. They killed mom and pop businesses and small-time landlords, while the big box stores and online giants thrived. The government has also stashed away a lot of that "stimulus money" they charged up on YOUR credit card, only spending a small fraction of it The little guy is suffering the most, and the little guy is getting stuck with the bill in the end. The middle class will DIE and there will be nothing but the handful of very rich, who will rule over the very poor masses. This covid diversion looks like the beginning of socialism, to make all the "little people' equally poor, while the govt and oligarchs get richer. If they keep it up, America will look just like those Third-World countries, where a handful of people are Uber Rich, and everyone else sucks.
