If you have lots of love to give and receive, this could be the guy for you. Rocco (pronounced ROKO) is honestly the friendliest dog I have ever known. He loves kids, adults and other dogs. He is not food motivated, he just wants your love. I adopted him from Haven Humane Society as a foster/adopt in December 2020 and he can't spend another winter indoors with this old gal. We live up at Mt. Shasta, here visiting and looking for a permanent home with no snow and hopefully a family with kids and maybe other dogs? Rocco is fun loving and between 2-3 years old we think, tends to be a bit submissive with other male dogs and is as kind and loving as you could imagine - not a mean bone in this guy's entire muscly bod. He is very fit, hikes with me 6 miles a day, LOVES to fetch and play catch and wants nothing more than to snuggle with you on the couch. I learned that he is crate-trained, so he sleeps with his comfy bed inside a crate at night (I don't lock the door) but he would much rather sleep with you in all honesty. Not at all destructive, doesn't chew furniture, rugs, baseboards....way past the true puppy stage but still very energetic. He is a fantastic companion and really deserves to be in an atmosphere where he won't spend another winter cooped up. He is a neutered male, approx 60 lbs, current on all shots and Trefexis (flea tick heartworm monthly) and is in excellent health. If you have love to give a snuggler/lover, let's meet.
