Press release from the Metropolitan Police Department: September 4, 2021 Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Third District announce an arrest has been made in reference to Burglary Two offenses that occurred in the Third District. Burglary Two: On Monday, August 9, 2021, at approximately 8:56 am, the suspect entered a residential building in the 3200 block of 16th Street, Northwest. Once inside, the suspect took property and US currency then fled the scene. CCN: 21-111-586 Burglary Two: On Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at approximately 5:48 pm, the suspect entered a residential building in the 3200 block of 16th Street, Northwest. Once inside, the suspect took property then fled the scene. CCN: 21-116-387 Burglary Two: On Thursday, August 19, 2021, at approximately 9:38 am, the suspect entered a residential building in the 3200 block of 16th Street, Northwest. Once inside, the suspect took US currency and property and then fled the scene. CCN: 21-117-049 Theft Two: On Friday, August 20, 2021, at approximately 6:00 pm, the suspect took the victim's property from the 900 block of Randolph Street, Northwest, then fled the scene. CCN: 21-117-908 Burglary Two: On Saturday, August 21, 2021, at approximately 3:12 am, the suspect entered a residential building in the 3200 block of 17th Street, Northwest. Once inside, the suspect took property then fled the scene. CCN: 21-119-887 Burglary Two: On Thursday, August 26, 2021, at approximately 2:50 am, the suspect forcibly entered an establishment in the 3100 block of Mount Pleasant Street, Northwest. Once inside, the suspect took property then fled the scene. CCN: 21-120-881 On Saturday, September 4, 2021, 40 year-old Faustino Venzor, Jr., of Northwest, DC, was arrested and charged with the above offenses.
