Join Fair Trade Philadelphia for a fun and engaging Walking Tour of local organizations and small businesses in the West Philadelphia area! We'll be swinging by and visiting a few key local spots and stores that share many of their core values with the Fair Trade Movement, i.e Sustainability, Workers' Rights, Ethical Purchasing & Business. Our goal is to create further discussion around the needs and goals of our local community businesses and how we can support each other and work together as organizations. We'll be meeting up at Mariposa Food Co-op at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 19th. Wear your walking shoes! Come prepared to learn, discuss, and have fun! There will also be a celebratory dinner afterwards at Kaffa Crossing at 5:00 PM! NO TICKET REQUIRED, but we will be asking each member that attends to pay for their own portion.
