NOW HIRING: 2 or 3 FULL TIME DISTRIBUTION DRIVERS Must be able to work weekends and comfortable driving in Miami. Who We Are: Established in 1993, The Doughnut Peddler is a manufacturer and distributor of fresh bakery products delivering to more than 4,000 locations a day. Though we are a national company, our origins as a small family business are evident in our work culture, where every employee is valued. Our five bakeries produce over 2 million doughnuts each week and our distribution team drivers enough miles to circle the earth each day. We are currently looking for a qualified, highly motivated individual who wants to grow with us as we expand. Who We’re Looking For: Applicants for the distribution driver position at the Doughnut Peddler must: o Have a clean, 3-year MVR driving history o Maintain a current, valid driver’s license o Have driving experience in Miami or large city o Pass a pre-employment drug screening o Be 25 years of age or older (this restriction does not apply in jurisdictions where prohibited) o Must be able to effectively communicate with clients in English Job Requirements: • Availability between the hours of 5 p.m. and 6 a.m. Shifts typically start between 5 pm and 6 pm and end between the hours of 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. Shift schedule is dependent upon total driving distance and number of stops per route. Weekend availability is a requirement for all new hires. • This position requires the ability to enter and exit a large distribution truck with ease, lift up to 50lbs, and load/unload a distribution truck without assistance. • This position requires customer service skills. A positive attitude and friendly personality are a must as drivers will interact directly with our customers on a nightly basis. This position typically pays between $150.00 and $200.00 per night. Depending on route. The smallest route averages between 6 and 8 hours. The largest averages between 10 and 12.
