My Trip to Kemet (Egypt), Africana Studies, and Black Liberation. Yes, family I am in Afrika doing field and educational research about Kemet, (Egypt)-the world's oldest and greatest documented civilization. I am studying Kemetic history, culture, and spirituality with the Kemet Nu educational tour. The 2021 Kemet Nu Educational Know They Self Tour Sponsored by Professors Ashra and Merira Kwesi -the legendary teachers of Egyptology (the scientific study on Egyptian history, culture, and spirituality) and history. Journal Entry 12: Our Kemetic studies concluded with a flight from Aswan to Abu Simbel in Nubia to finish our final day of field work. We visited the temples of King User Ma'at Re Setep En Ra Ramessu Meriamen (Europeans and Arabs renamed this brother Ramses II) and Queen Nefertari Merimut in the Upper Kemet region of Afrika. These temples were breathtaking. The size and magnitude of these colossal statuettes are enormous! Inside the the temple, the Medu Neter (Europeans and Arabs call it the Hieroglyphics) depict our king and Queen as Black people! They did not look white at all. Ramses ruled Kemet for 66 years. When he took office as king, Kemet was the most powerful nation in the world. He was a great leader in trade, the arts, science, military might, and education. Unfortunately, biblical scholars have accused Ramses II as the ruler responsible for the Jewish exodus. But based upon the Medu Neter, and archeological evidence, there is no record of a mass group of Hebrew people exiting Kemet from religious persecution. (ALL OF RAMSES II'S ALEGED OPPRESSION OF JEWS IN KEMET WERE FICTIONALIZED IN A RACIST HOLLYWOOD MOVIE CALLED THE TEN COMMANDMENTS STARRING THE ACTORS CHARLTON HESTON AND YULE BRYNNER. BUT BASED UPON HISTORICAL EVIDENCE, NONE OF THESE EVENTS EXISTS) As I sat in my chair to write this piece by the river Hapi (Europeans and Arabs call it the Nile) next to my hotel room patio, I was invoked by the spirit of Dr. Yosef A. A. Ben Jochannan. Before he passed away to the ancestor's realm on March 19, 2015, Dr. Ben Jochannan was a revolutionary Black Egyptologist during the 20th and 21th Centuries. He was greatly admired and respected for his work to rescue Kemet (Europeans and Arabs call it Egypt) back to its rightful place as an Afrikan civilization. But more importantly, his research pointed out that Kemet is the mother of the world's civilizations and religions. Dr. Ben wrote several scholarly books to support his arguments about the factual history of Kemet. One of the books he wrote was a guide to his educational trips to Kemet called, Giza to Abu Simbel. Dr. Ben led trips to Kemet every year to show people the blackness and greatness of Kemet. His tours were called the Alkebulan Educational tours. He named it after an ancient name for Afrika. I reflected back to the cover of that book as I approached the great monuments of our ancestors led by Dr.Ben's number #1 student-Professor Ashra Kwesi. I bought that book over thirty years ago. The front cover of his book had very black features of User Ma'at Re Setep En Ra Ramessu Meriamen (Ramses II). Now moving onward to the present, I looked up at the faces our ancestors. I said to myself Dr. Ben did not lie. Kemetic people were definitely Black. This is all documented in the Medu Neter. Unfortunately, because many us have become disconnected to our Afrikan history and culture through white supremacy, we can not see our legacy's impact on the world. More importantly, because we fail to connect to our Afrikan cultural traditions, particularly Afrikan Kemetic cultural traditions, we remain mentally oppressed in America and in the world. Without Afrikan history and culture as a foundation for Black liberation, we will continue to scatter all over the planet blindly following every word of our former slave masters and colonizers. As a consequence, we will continue to build a world for our oppressors. Without the knowledge of self centered on Kemet, and the Nile Valkey, we will struggle to rebuild a world for ourselves free from our former slave masters and colonizers!!! Afrikan Kemetic culture and spirituality astonished Europeans and Arabs, but on another level, intimated them. European leaders, such as Justinian and Theodosius ordered the closing of all Afrikan Kemetic temples during 4th and 6th centuries A.D. under the Roman Christian Empire , so that no one will discover the Afrikan Kemetic origins of Christianity, the arts, and sciences. They even order the murdering of all Afrikan Kemetic high priests that taught the faith tradition of AmenRa and the mystery schools. Even during Europe's Middle Ages, Christians monks plastered theirs faces over the Medu Neter to promote a fictitious myth that Christianity came from some place in the western world. The Arabs burned many temples. And the temples they did not burn, they used the blocks to construct cities under their domination such as Cairo. Europeans and Arabs even stole all the scrolls that taught the faith tradition of AmenRa and the mystery schools. Thank God our Afrikan ancestors created and wrote the Medu Neter. It has helped some us study and understand the events of our Kemetic Afrikan history, culture, and spirituality. The Medu Neter is the oldest recorded written language in the history of the world. It has documented the story of Kemet's role in the origin of the world's civilizations and religions. It is all written in stone!!!!!! But I am moving forward. Although I have left Cairo and Giza days ago, I am now in upper Kemet to study Kemet's contributions to non-religious world. I did not come to Kemet to just study her spiritual foundation for the world's faith traditions. It is in Kemet's spiritual centers that the world's math, sciences, and the liberal arts were created. Kemetic schools and spirituality developed simultaneously. Kemetic people developed astronomy, papyrus (paper), written language, trigonometry, Algebra, agriculture, medicine, theology, architectural engineering, astrology, philosophy, embalming, art, geometry, physics, biology, literature, geography, anatomy, and archaeology. Afrikan Kemetic people called this section of the temple-The Mystery Schools. Kemet is Medu Neter for land of the Blacks. BY THE WAY, THESE PICTURES ARE NOT PHOTO SHOPPED.
