Description
Quit alienating people to make yourself feel better.
Addicts have a reason for being addicts. That's not an excuse, but one of the realizations addicts have when battling that disease. The sobering journey also illuminates every dark moment of their experience. That's my experience.
Also, I really don't know what qualifies you to copy and paste that definition from a book. If you actually felt anything; the words would have flowed freely from your "wounded" soul.
The truth is; I was never at my best self and that just made me succomb into this disease further. I don't owe you that explanation, but I do other people that actually matter. They are missed.
Tell yourself what you want.
You can keep them from me 100 years, a silent 3 min hug would tell them everything. Then everything I've said to them that didn't make sense at the time....WILL make sense.
