Description
CLEVELAND — A car dragged a Cleveland police officer during a traffic stop on the city's west side on Thursday night, according to a department spokesperson.
Officers stopped a car near W. 32nd and Clark Avenue. The driver was ordered out of the car, but ignored officers, threw the car in drag and pulled an officer down the road, Cleveland police said.
The officer dislodged himself from the car and the driver then tried to drive away, hitting a Cleveland police cruiser in the process.
Officers have not been able to locate the car since the incident, police said.
The dragged officer was treated for "minor injuries," according to police. The investigation is ongoing.
