Asbury UMC DC Oral Histories is back in 2021!
The newest oral histories from Asbury United Methodist Church will be highlighted at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 24, with personal stories that bring to life African American history in and beyond the District from people who experienced it.
Project director Adelle Banks, team member Pandit Wright and Movies@Asbury co-leader Kelvin Childs will host a Zoom discussion about our latest oral history interviews that touch on District, African American and national history.
