Sweet Siamese Cat with injury

Ran into a very friendly young Siamese cat Friday night. Seemed ok but had a very swollen scabbed over wound on its neck that I think was an abscess and it probably needs to go to the vet. I asked a few neighbors and nobody knows this cat, but one said she saw him out on Thursday. I put some food out for him. He had a collar so presumably he belongs to someone but it would take a while for the wound to get that infected so I'm not sure whether he is lost and can't find his way home. Please let me know if you are missing a little cat or know who he might belong to and I'll try to keep an eye out for him and help him get back home.
