Argentinian tango here. This year we will meet for New Year's celebration for 2 days (2 nights). Zen Tango - third edition. Little different. First - your safety - vaccination only (email us, or show it at the door). Be smart - if you were exposed or have symptoms - there is always next time. Stay home. We are following also the venue and PA health protocols. We are meeting here in Allentown for the third time. With extraordinary hosts and crew and DJs. Who is on the board? ***Sarah la Rocca - organizer of "All night milonga" that we loved so much. She knows how to do it. She puts all her heart into the tango events. Meg Farrell - musicologist, great dancer (follower and leader), and DJ at your service for the New Year's Eve party. Barnaby Ruhe - artiste, provocateur - will be sketching on both nights and doing tarot readings. His painting "Tango bliss" will be auctioned during the Zen Tango weekend. What's in the program: ***Friday (with a delicious buffet, champagne, cash bar) or the restaurant service downstair for your convenience. *8-9pm - tangueros/tangueras happy hour - meet and talk and have a drink. with light jazzy tunes. *9-2am - Milonga - DJ Meg Farrell *11pm -showtime - surprise. *11:45 - zen meditation with drums, crystals bowls, Tibetan bowls, sage and new years visualizations. 12am - champagne and New Years wishes 12-2am - Milonga continues. ***Saturday (food at the restaurant, if you need some, organic snacks at the milonga). *4:30-5:30 - movie "Between tango and danzon" documentary filmed in Havana, Cuba, by Marta Bautis. 5:30-6pm - questions and answers, and a cocktail with Marta Bautis - Argentinian movie maker. *6pm-10pm - milonga - DJ MayoK *8pm - 8:30pm - live music by Tricity Tango. advanced tickets only (so we know how many people are coming) *Friday - New Year's Eve only - 55$ *Saturday - New year's day only - 35$ *both days package - in advance - 75$ prepay: Paypal: [email protected] Venmo: @Urszula-Abolik
