Police ID Greenlawn Teen Killed In Collision

EAST NORTHPORT, NY — A teenager riding a dirt bike was killed in a collision in East Northport on Saturday night, Suffolk police said. Nicholas Woodworth, 13, of Greenlawn, was operating a Honda dirt bike when he went through a traffic light around 11:30 p.m. at the intersection of Larkfield Road and Pulaski Road and was struck by a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox driven by a 49-year-old East Northport woman, police said. Woodworth was pronounced dead at Huntington Hospital. The vehicle and dirt bike were impounded for safety checks.
