Your line up >>>>>>>> Our opening act, Andy Redding is a transplant to Pensacola born and raised in Maryland. Andy did his first open mic at Emerald Republic last November and quickly realized Stand-Up Comedy was going to be a new hobby. Andy’s first show was a Roast Battle at the Cutty in July, where he destroyed and won the Golden Eagle trophy. His quick wit, ability to imitate accents and monotone voice makes for the most hilarious stories and jokes that will have everyone laughing! Compton is not just a city in California. He’s a comedian, in a kilt, and yes it comes up from time to time. Compton wasn’t always a comic and the road to get here was long. After growing up with a love for comedy and talking his way through multiple corporations it was inevitable that he would take the stage himself at some point. Having been a casino executive, an academic, and an audio engineer he came to the stage with a wealth of life experience to share. Those experiences have cultivated a comedy style that is as much stories as it is one liners and is as unique as the kilted nomad of comedy himself. In his short four year comedy career Compton has performed with some incredible talent, including; Robert “Bobby” Kelly, Shane Gillis, Chris Kattan, Louis Katz, Sean Finnerty, Cliff Cash, Ryan Niemiller, Derek Stroup, Scott Eason, Michael Statham and a slew of others. Compton is also a comedy producer currently running High Humidity Humor with award winning comic Michael Statham. HHH runs shows in six cities and has the only multi-city comedy run on the gulf coast. He has played a founding role in Stingers Comedy, Azalea City Comedy, The Indy Arts Comedy Fest, and The Mobile Comedy Festival. Last but certainly not least Jason McBurney! Jason is a pensacola native born and raised right here in the 850. Jason is active in our comedy community and has been featured on a showcase for Rated R comedy at the Cutty Sark Friday show as well as their monthly ROAST BATTLE, hosting a weekly mic once a month for LMAO Comedy Shows, and attends local open mics to work on new material. He was also just recently interviewed by Lavelle Cook on the CVZ Podcast available on Spotify. Jason is actively working on his comedy career but has been a funny human from the start. He has a natural ability to make people laugh and charisma that can light up every room he enters!
